“Kanpur Ophthalmology Society is a professional organization dedicated to uniting eye care specialists in Kanpur.”

Kanpur Ophthalmic Society started its journey way back in 2009 when Dr M C Saxena sir and Dr R C Gupta sir literally went to each and every ophthalmologists in the city to enroll them as member of the society.Their motto was simple – to build a society for the welfare and well being all the its members.Our society further strengthend with the able guidance of Dr AM Jain sir and Dr VP Singh Sir.Senior members including Dr Ramesh Rohatgi,Dr PN Agarwal,Dr Y.K.Mahendra,Dr Awadh Dubey and others further uplifted the society with their experience,dedication and valuable support.

Presently the society has more than 190 members and it’s numbers are increasing every year.Regular seminars,webinars,CMEs and extra curricular activities are being held which not only helps in professional upgradation of the members but also creates a strong bonding amongst it’s peers.
Today we can proudly say that our society is not only one of the best societies in UP but it’s one of the best in India.
